1st August 2016 - Brainstorming

What's 'Brainstorming' to me?

I heard this word before but my first view of it was just 'thinking'. After the class, I had a new concept about it. Brainstorming is a situation whereby a group of people is discussing the same issue and generating a new ideas to tackle that very issue. To me, brainstorming should not restrict people to speak their minds, but instead to help see the ideas suggested based on another party's perspective. Their views will be taken into consideration and won't be criticised as it is already emphasized during class that brainstorming is about quantity. Members will only evaluate those views after the brainstorming session. The purpose of brainstorming is to let members be more open-minded so that ideas will be free flowing instead of being restricted, which I believe will help attain a better end result.

It was a good experience to learn through the brainstorming class. At the outset, it's quite hard for us to find out 50 ways to use chopsticks. But in the process of talking nonsense, our ideas came endless. Not restricted thinking is really an important element of meeting.✨

I took the bus back to my hometown – Muar, for the first time. I usually go back to Malaysia twice a month because I am totally a homesick patient hahahaha😅. But my father doesn’t allow me to take public bus, so the last time I went home, my dad came purposely to Singapore to pick me home (someone  said I’m a princess hahaha).

Luckily, I got the chance to take bus this week because my cousin accompanied me. Though we reached the checkpoint at 7am, there was already crowded. Of course it is not so convenient and comfortable than taking car, but I found it’s fun.😎😎

Okay, tomorrow I am going back to Singapore by car because my dad have booked a driver for me.😂(Yay, Imma born princess hahaha👑)
